How to use tapping to stay mindful
Mindfulness, the most powerful tool I know.
For results, practice.
You don’t need a lot of time.
Being mindful starts with noticing.
Noticing your thoughts.
Follow this technique.
Take 3 minutes.
Sit and close your eyes.
Hands palms down on top of knees.
Notice your thoughts.
Don’t control them.
Get a new thought.
Tap your knee with an index finger.
Keep tapping with new thoughts.
Your mind expects an action with each new thought.
The tapping is disrupting.
Stops the mind engaging.
Reminds it to come back.
To notice the thoughts.
This is mind training.
Training to stay present.
Just witnessing your thoughts.
Practice mind tapping daily.
“A great hallmark of mental wellness is the ability to be in the present moment, fully and with no thoughts of being elsewhere.” -Wayne Dyer
