How to deal with your anxious brain
★ONE IDEA
Your brain is turned on all day.
It’s always protecting you.
Ensures your survival.
You sleep, your brain works.
Day and night, always on alert.
It creates worry and fear to protect you.
People, situations, and your environment could trigger it.
Some fears are conscious.
And others you are not aware of.
Too many fears, create anxiety.
If you are anxious, your brain is hyper-alert .
Too many threats.
Most of them are not real.
They don’t exist.
Your brain is thinking.
I need to fight, flight or freeze.
An attack is coming!
An anxious brain is not good.
Find ways to turn off the threat signal.
Tell your brain “Relax.”
Consider activities that calm the mind and body.
Release muscle tension.
Keep mind focused.
Meditation, Yoga, Qi-gong or Tai-chi.
Let go of your anxious brain.
